    Dr.Khaled A. Taki of FBC Franchise Business Consultants and an AUB '86 Alumni was a guest lecturer on the topic of " Leadership and Behavior In Organizations and Change Management " complete with a case study and a comparison analysis of Leadership and Management change in the West and in the Arab world, at the request of Professor Karim Rbeiz at the American University of Beirut Masters in Business Administration Executive MBA program at the Suliman S. Olayan School of Business the Friday 8th January 2010.

    The case study produced a considerable amount of interaction from the students as it covered the Royal Decree by H.M. King Abdallah of Saudi Arabia, three years ago, which allows for Saudi females to join the private sector and the students were asked to be the CEO of a company that was about to establish a new special section for Saudi females.. Students were asked to analyse what was required in terms of change management and new policies and arrangements ? Specific attention was given to the norms, values, and traditions be it by the society or religious constrains all of which were discussed and what effect this would have on the Leadership and behaviour of the organisation. New information was provided by Dr. Taki based on first hand experience and both Professor Karim Rbeiz and the students were delighted with the contents of the lecture.
