    Dear Friends ,

    In response to the request of many of our colleagues and friends in the Franchise sector, the format of our next FBC Franchise Seminar “How to ‘Build & Run’ a Franchise Department” has been changed to a 3 hour workshop- lecture allowing many to attend either the morning session from 9 to 12 am or after working hours from 6 to 9 pm . The topic, venue, day remain the same on the 25th June 2009. This workshop-lecture will help you understand the role and importance of the Franchise department , provide you with the necessary methodology techniques to be able to start up and analyze your Franchise Department .

    Topics :Methodology for the start up and analysis of the Franchise Department

    1. Understand the Franchise Department, cycle of operations, staff required , duties and responsibilities
    2. Ensure that all major components are included, and add others if required such as Quality control.
    3. Evaluate the Franchise department, including HR and TTT training requirements of the Franchises
    4. Define interaction with existing departments to ensure the Department runs efficiently
    5. Define relationship between the Department and Franchisees as a “happy harmonious ” network
    6. Ensure that it can expand to accommodate new Franchisees within the expansion strategy
    7. Prepare an action implementation plan for new Franchises joining the network
    In addition to an interactive workshop case study and Q & A panel discussion.

    Why this Workshop-Lecture ?
    Because Franchising has and continues to grown in Lebanon, we now have a Lebanese Franchise Association, and tens of Franchisors as members, therefore it is important to all Franchisors to build the best Franchise Department and run it as efficient as possible. Also because all Franchisors need to have every member of their staff working in Franchising become familiar with how the cycle of operations of a Franchise Department runs, understand the components and feel comfortable with the role he or she pays in the Franchise Department so that they will be secure and remain with the Franchisors for years to come.

    Everyone that is or plans to work in Franchising, all the staff of the Franchisor, any members who may qualify to develop and run a Franchise Department in due course, such as well Operations and Branch Managers, Project Coordinators, Quality Controllers, Accountants and in particular trainees.
